This half day tour of the renowned “Mother City”, the oldest city in South Africa, and one of the most beautiful cities in the world, begins in the ancient and colourful multiethnic Cape Malay community known as Bo Kaap. With its cobbled streets, mosques and traditional houses this is a beautiful place in the heart of the city. The tour continues with an interesting visit to the famous South African Museum and the Castle of Good Hope, where we see images of the past of this great country. During the tour you will get to know the entire city centre, with its famous streets, parks with splendid gardens such as the Company’s Garden and transit through as well as its’ wonderful local craft markets. The tour continues with an ascent to Table Mountain, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature (if weather permits). After enjoying the beautiful panoramic view of the city and peninsula we descend to continue our adventure by sidecar and explore the side hills of Table Mountain, crossing Lion’s Head and leading to the beautiful beaches and bars of Camps Bay. Visit splendid tourist spots along the Atlantic coast of the city to enter the spectacular way to Chapman’s Peak, considered one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world. Upon arriving at our heavenly viewpoint, we expected a spectacular gourmet picnic lunch with sparkling wine. The tour ends at the famous harbour and shopping promenade of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, or at the hotel where the guests are in residence.
